America Can Be a Confusing Place


We got new paper towel dispensers at work. And they have this on the side of them:




I get that the symbol on the right is for the battery level, but what the F is the one on the left? Are paper towels strictly forbidden in Montana or something? I don't get it. And the mystery is haunting me. Please help.

The left light blinks when it's empty. Stop in the men's room sometime. It's pretty much always blinking.

I could be totally wrong, but considering I eff up the dispenser every time I pull the towel when I see this sign, I believe it's there to tell you NOT to pull the towel, that it will automatically dispense for you.

Those are pretty good guesses. Either way, the designer of that thing was either a toddler or an abstract artist.
